Every year pastry chefs from all over Sweden applies for the finals of "Årets Konditor", Swedish Pastry Chef of the year. Among these candidates five finalists are chosen for the big finals in October. During two days the finalists are to present cakes, chocolates, patisseries or what else are the categories for that years competition.

The winner recieves the title "Årets Konditor" and will be the swedish champion of patisserie for a year.
